HoopEdge ("the App") is a sports analytics tool that provides basketball game predictions using machine learning models. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and an encrypted password. We do not collect your real name or other personal identifiers unless you choose to provide them.
Usage Data: We store simulated bet records you create within the app, including selected teams, bet types, and amounts. These are for tracking your prediction performance and are not real financial transactions.
First-Party Analytics: We collect first-party usage analytics events (such as feature usage, paywall views, and prediction reveals) stored on our own servers. This data is used solely to improve the app experience. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking technologies. We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or browsing history.
Your information is used solely to provide the App's functionality: authenticating your account, storing your prediction history, and displaying your performance statistics. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.
Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. Authentication tokens (JWT) are used for session management.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon request, we will permanently delete your account information and all stored records.
The App fetches publicly available sports data (odds, scores, market prices) from third-party APIs. These requests do not include any of your personal information.
The App is not intended for use by children under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 17.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
